Computer Science is such a discipline where, probably, technologies get changed most rapidly. In such scenarios, it becomes very challenging for us to maintain the synergy between students’ readiness and industry needs. For a 4 year program like B.Tech., it takes almost four years to inculcate changes in the curriculum to make it upgraded and industry oriented. Such situations give rise to the additional demand for training on advanced technologies. At the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), GNIOT, we believe in that if we hire trainers from outside for a fixed duration of times then what if students come up with some doubts afterward? So, we have developed in-house labs and trainers, certified by the industries to cater not only the need of training but also for various certifications like CEH, MOS, MTA, Java, Oracle, etc.
To provide a strong curricular base among the student’s department is well equipped with state of art infrastructure and highly qualified team of faculty members. We also have tied-up with TIMES group for GATE preparation at the campus itself. TechClub and inkling; the two students club at the department are the plus factor and plays vital roles in value addition among students.
At CSE, GNIOT, we also provide the environment for research to the students through various funded/live projects. In this endeavor, we also provide various kinds of support through E-Cell, to the students to promote the Entrepreneurship amongst them.
In the end, we provide enormous opportunities for placements to our students. Just to mention a few IT brands with whom our students are working; TCS, Infosys, Sapient, Cognizant, Genpact, UHG, NIIT Technologies, Wipro, etc.
Finally, CSE, GNIOT is the department which is complete in all respect. It is ever competent to fulfill the career dreams of its students and to contribute top class IT professionals to the ICT World.
