A Two-Day Workshop on Essence of Entrepreneurship in this VUCA World

Nutan- The E-Club, GIMS, Greater Noida in an effort to bring in entrepreneurs to show the students the potential capability that entrepreneurship has in this VUCA world, organized a A Two-Day Workshop on Essence of Entrepreneurship in this VUCA World from May 13, 2021to May 14, 2021. The objective of the workshop was to discuss the nuances of the process of entrepreneurship in the VUCA world and spark the entrepreneurial spirit inside the students and provide knowledge about the benefits and the possible challenges that entrepreneurs face in their journey and the important factors they need to keep in mind while working on their ideas.

The workshop was intended to focus on the most crucial element of the Entrepreneurial Process i.e., ‘Ideation’.

The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Abhishek Mukherjee, CEO and Founder- Your First Startup and Mr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Co-founder- Your First Startup and CEO- Merikitab Learning Solutions. They shared their journey as an entrepreneur and explained the basic difference between businessman and an entrepreneur to the students (Budding managers). They discussed the process of SCAMPER for evaluating an idea to be executed during the entrepreneurial journey.Towards the end of the session, the guest speakers gave the students a small task, they asked the students to form a team of 5 to 6 members and assign different positions to all the members basis their competencies and come up with a problem along with possible solutions for the same.

DAY – 2: (15^TH MAY 2021)

The students showcased their presentations on the Day 2. There were four teams in total:

• SANKALP (Mr. Siddharth Singh, Mr. Rahul Kumar, Mr. Kumari Ekta, Ms. Sonam Kumari, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Mr. Piyush Singh, Mr. Ajeet Rai)
• GREEN ROCK (Ms.Shreya Shrestha, Mr.Anuj Pratap Singh, Mr. Gaurav Singh, Mr. Pratiyush Punj, Mr.Aditya Sharma, Ms. Manisha Verma)
• SOLAR GROUP (Ms. Khusboo Kumari, Ms.Priyanka Srivastava, Ms.Sanjana Singh)

The feedback was given by the guest speakers immediately after each presentation and they also asked multiple questions related to the problem selected by different groups.
