A cleanliness drive was successfully organized at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) in association with Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. The initiative saw active participation from students who enthusiastically contributed to cleaning various parts of the campus, including classrooms, corridors, the central lawn, and the canteen area. Students were equipped with gloves, brooms, and trash bags to ensure safety and efficiency during the drive. They collected plastic waste and litter from corners and hidden areas of the campus.
The collected waste was carefully segregated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories for proper disposal, promoting environmental sustainability. Faculty members not just supervised the drive but also participated, motivating students through hands-on involvement and reinforcing the spirit of teamwork and community care. The drive reflected the students’ commitment to cleanliness and environmental responsibility, aligning with the Swachh Bharat Mission and GIMS’s values of social responsibility and community engagement. The Cleanliness Drive was a successful and enriching activity that combined action with awareness. It reinforced the belief that change should and can begin at home — or in this case, on campus
