Motivation is a very strong tool we can use to get further in life and to achieve our dreams and goals. Setting goals for ourselves is very important. One needs to be always pushed further and further in life, not only physically but mentally as well. We all have different things or tools we can use to motivate us towards our end goals. In order for us to stay motivated, we have to have a goal and be driven towards achieving that goal.

There are two different types of motivation. The first one is “from” and the other one is “to”. Motivation “from” is the motivation of escape. It is when the subordinates would like to avoid something. In the case of motivation “to” people are trying to reach something and to get something that they wanted in the result of their actions.

Teams are the way that most companies get important work done. When energy, knowledge, and skills of a motivated group of people are combined, then the team can accomplish its goals. This includes paying the employees their worth, i.e. giving them sufficient salary and hospitality benefits such that they do not feel underpaid. The employees should be given a pleasant working environment. Everyone wants to work in an office environment that is clean and stimulating. Further, the organization should offer opportunities for self-development. It should foster collaboration in the team so that the employees work to achieve a common goal. Happy employees are enthusiastic and positive members of the team. The goals must be set clear in order to ensure that the optimal output is reached.

Motivation is always one of the most important themes in psychology. It is known that motivation will be the driving force which will help to reach the goal. It is said that “Self-motivation will always lead one to success provided that one stays committed after being motivated. Self-motivation is of great help in fulfilling your own objectives and to make your life as you want.”
