Digital Marketing and Future Trends in Indian is a buzz word which is catching up very fast. The main purpose of this blog is to get a feel and to study the current scenario and become aware of the modern future trends/concept of digital marketing which is cost effective and time saving concept.

Marketing Spelled Pronunciation ‘Mar’  ‘Kiting’ which means, the act of buying or selling in a market. This includes all the activities involved in the transfer of goods or services from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including advertising, shipping, storing, and selling. Consumer Marketing operated on mass marketing principles and business primarily concerned itself with how to build the best sales force & channels. At the end of the twentieth century, there is an emerging global digital culture. The major driver of these changes is technology and improved infrastructure. Technological changes have moved steadily back focusing on the individuals. These changes bring new challenges for conduct of business. Marketing is especially tied to communication and transportation revolution in the later part of nineteenth century. As the tools and reach of marketing increase, the job and responsibilities of marketers have evolved with them at fast pace.

Philip   Kotler   formalized this upcoming evolution with his book “Marketing Management“. As defined by him, the key stages are production, sales and brand management. Each of these is strongly motivated by technological innovations & opportunities, which permit new methods and new opportunities for the same. A fourth stage emerged, which focuses on the individual customer is also important. As the new technology of the Internet developed, it reinforced the new marketing emphasis – which in many ways is a return to business at the turn of the current century.

In India today internet has gripped everyone’s imagination and it still continues to evolve in different avatars in India irrespective of the age and demography, there is a constant desire to keep pace with the latest internet trends. With digital literacy on the rise, the last few years have   witnessed significant mobile and internet penetration in India. Further, there has been a steady  rise in adoption of new age technologies, especially by the Millennials, plethora of digital avenues opening up and increasing internet enabled channels – thus ‘heterogeneity’ emerging as a key characteristic for marketers in the Indian internet scenario.

As per recent reports India has close to 625 million internet users by end of 2020, which likely to cross 650 million by 2023. And it is said, that over 85% of these are regular internet users. This number is almost 13% plus of total world’s internet users. With such large penetration of users, it makes a sure case of using digital media by the businesses.

With such a fast emerging trend of using internet to reach to their customers, it is of real interest to understand how this new trend will shape the Indian Business space for the times to come. In todays’ fast paced world, all types of large and small business in a way use digital marketing techniques to reach out to their customers.

Here in this blog, I have tried to give outlines about the future of digital marketing in India and its effect, the importance of digital marketing in the growing world or advanced world. Anybody reading this blog will surely get an insight of digital marketing concept and its growing importance in India in near future.

In today’s technology driven world, a new fast paced digital economy is emerging and evolving on continuous basis. Tomorrow there may be companies that will exist only inside computer networks. Majority of business transactions will be made electronically, directly from the producer to the consumer, bypassing the major part of the existing supply chain mechanism. In the digital marketing environment, the consumer becomes an integral part in the development of the product or service. In fact, in future the consumer might build the product himself from a wide array of parts provided by the Company. It is e-commerce that is changing the way products and services are conceived, manufactured, promoted, priced, and delivered. The reason being that it is much cheaper; it allows vast coverage and helps in serving the customer better and with direct feedback too.

Keeping the above in mind, and such a fast increase in the Internet Services, and ever increasing use of Digital Means of Marketing, it becomes and interesting topic to understand the Concept of Digital Marketing and it’s future in the Indian Context.
