Webinar on Design concepts in Centrifugal pumps

Event Details: Department of Mechanical engineering and Alumni Cell had organized a webinar on “Design concepts in Centrifugal pumps”. The webinar was quite successful mainly due to valuable suggestions and support provided by the College Management and Director Sir (Dr. Rajesh Goyal). The sessions were quite interactive and all participants attended very actively. Session was inaugurated by Director GNIOT (Dr. Rajesh Goyal) with his introductory session and our Dean Academic also addressed our students. Our invited guest Mr. Aditya Kashyap (Alumnus 2007-2011), Principle engineer, Air Liquide, New Delhi, explained the detailed working principle of centrifugal pumps. He also discussed about the performance curves as well as how to eliminate the cavitations in the pumps. In the last, he also interacted with the students through question and answer session.
