CR (Class representative) and AR (Academic representative) are the most designated, decorated and responsible posts of an institution who serves as a bridge between the College management, authority, faculties and Students. Those students who holds the position of a CR & AR are the sincerest and brightest students. They are every time ready to take all the challenges and task given to them and hence, they play a key role in maintaining the decorum of the institute by creating an environment of discipline and regularity. The Main Role of a CR is to Act as a prime official channel of communication between teacher and rest of the class, for all monitoring formalities. It is a leadership role- a special privilege and honour. It prepares students as future leaders. The In order to find the right person to be fit in the role of CR, Class Representative (CR) Elections were organised by SAKSHAM, The Student Welfare Club, GIMS on 12th October’21 in Seminar Hall at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies. The nominations for all the three sections in the first year were done online and their responses were submitted by 8th October. On the final day, nominees appealed the faculties and fellow students to cast vote for them by sharing as why they should be elected as CR and also their future commitments after being elected. The voting was done online by the students and winners were identified. The results for the AR/CR were announced on 22nd October, 2021. Janmesh Soni from Section ‘A’ of 1st year appointed as CR for Section ‘A’ while Pushpa Jha was selected as an AR for the section ‘A’. Bhawna Gupta from section ‘B’ has been selected for the post of CR for Section ‘B’ and Amisha Goel has been appointed as AR fir the section B. While in section ‘C’, Rudra has been selected as CR and Amarjeet Kumar has been selected as an AR. Meanwhile in the whole process of selecting CR, the involvement of students from all the three sections were high and everyone participated with sheer enthusiasm and joy.
