Celebrated National Youth Day

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at GNIOT celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm on January 12, 2024. As part of the celebration, a Debate competition was organized, focusing on the crucial role of youth in nation-building.

Results of the Debate Competition:

1. 1st Prize: Anjali Thakur
2. 2nd Prize: Aashish Chaudhary
3. 3rd Prize: Prince Kumar and Pranati Panjiar
4. Consolation Prize: Azhaan Masir and Ranjeet Kumar

We express our sincere gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Dhiraj Gupta, Director of Engineering, for his continuous support and encouragement. Special thanks to Dr. Mukesh Ojha, HOD-ECE, for his guidance and leadership in making the event a success.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Event Coordinators, Dr. Monika Dixit and Ms. Bhawna Sachdeva, for their dedicated efforts in organizing and managing the Debate competition.

Outcomes of the Event:

1. Promotion of Critical Thinking: The Debate competition provided a platform for students to engage in critical discussions, enhancing their analytical and reasoning skills.

2. Empowerment of Youth Voices: The event encouraged students to express their opinions on significant issues, fostering a sense of empowerment and responsibility among the youth.

3.  Building Confidence: Participants gained valuable experience in public speaking, contributing to the development of their confidence and communication abilities.

4. Cultivation of Team Spirit: Through healthy competition, students learned the importance of collaboration and sportsmanship.

Overall, the National Youth Day celebration and Debate competition were instrumental in promoting intellectual growth, empowerment, and a sense of responsibility among the students.
