ECE Department Organizes Enriching Industrial Visit to Haier Electronics Pvt Ltd

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), GNIOT, in association with the Institute's industry interface cell, organized an industrial visit to Haier Electronics Pvt. Ltd. on 16th May 2025. The visit was specifically arranged for 3rd-year ECE students to enhance their understanding of real-world industrial operations and exposure to the practical applications of electronics and automation systems.
Students were given a guided tour of Haier’s production facility during the visit.The officials from Haier Electronics explained the entire manufacturing process, from raw material inspection and component assembly to final product testing and quality assurance. Special attention was given to the role of electronics and embedded systems in automation, robotics, and quality control.
Students also observed the usage of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), automated testing equipment, and production line robotics, which are critical components in electronics manufacturing. 

 Outcomes of the Visit are:- 

*The students gained a practical understanding of industrial processes and technologies. 

*The students observed the real-time functioning of electronic systems in a production environment.

*The visit helped strengthen the link between academic learning and industrial practices.

*The exposure inspired students to think about career opportunities and future innovations in the electronics industry.
