Educational Visit to TNAI by GIMSAR Nursing Students

GNIOT Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSAR) organized an Educational Visit to the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) for B.Sc Nursing 1st Year on 30/10/2025 at 10.00 am.

The main purpose of the educational visit was to make the students aware of the professional association and its significance to the professional career and to promote a sense of espirit de corps among all nurses, enabling members to counsel together on matters relating to the profession and upholding every way the dignity and honour of the nursing profession.

 The educational visit was a successful and informative experience for the students

It provided an opportunity to them to see a new perspective to gain a deeper understanding of the teaching learning activities related to nursing and nursing professions at different levels. The interactive sessions between the officials and students was quite fruitful.

 Students were able to develop the understanding about the TNAI and Student Nurses Association (SNA) and their significance to the profession. 

At the end students were encouraged to attend BLS (Basic life support) and ACLS (Advanced cardiac life support) training which are done regularly by TNAI.
