IMNCI Workshop at GIMS Greater Noida Successful Training for Future Child Health Nurses

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the IMNCI (Integrated Management of Newborn & Childhood Illness) workshop held on 22nd November 2025, from 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at the College of Nursing, GIMS, Greater Noida.

Organized by GIMSAR in collaboration with the Government Institute of Medical Sciences – Institute of Advanced Healthcare Skill Centre and GIMS Vidya Setu, the workshop aimed to strengthen students’ competencies in newborn and child health care.

 Workshop Objectives
 Build skills in systematic assessment and classification of newborn and childhood illnesses.
 Enhance the ability to identify danger signs, provide appropriate treatment, and counsel caregivers.
 Prepare students for effective child health management at both community and facility levels.

 Workshop Highlights
The sessions included clinical demonstrations, case discussions, and hands-on skill-based learning. Trainers ensured clear understanding and practical application of IMNCI guidelines, boosting students’ confidence for real-world pediatric and newborn care.
