Industrial Visit to Indian Metrological Department

Getting updated with new technology is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching. The main object of an industrial visit is to let students know things practically through interaction and working tactics. Moreover, it gives exposure from an academic point of view.

Keeping this view in mind, The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized one Day Industrial Visit to Indian Metrological Department, Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India on 25.11.2022.

Our faculty Dr. Anil Dubey and Mr. Abhishek Kaushik along with students of ECE 2nd year visited- Hydrology Division, Satmet Division (Satellite Division), EMRC Division, and NWFC Division. Experts thoroughly elaborated the concept of working of different sensors and mechanical-based devices. The Students learned various techniques of weather monitoring systems and decoding satellite and radar systems. The whole visit was meaningful, knowledgeable, and Informative from academic point of view for ECE Students. Few Glimpses of Visit.
