Industry expectations from MBA Graduates

MBA Institute organized an Expert Guest Lecture on the Topic “Industry expectations from MBA Graduates” by inviting Mr. Amitaabh Shrivastava, currently working with M/S WIPRO Technologies Ltd., - Cluster Delivery Head US & UK Markets. He has over 25 Years of experience, and mainly in project Software Delivery Projects with M/S Wipro Technologies Ltd.

MBA Institute Director Dr. DB Singh welcomed the guest and told the students to use Mr. Shrivastava’s experience and learn to become industry ready, as learning from others experiences is always a helpful hand. Prof. Praveen Rajpal introduced the speaker, and highlighted his long experience in various domains of telecommunication, banking, finance, life sciences, insurance etc. etc. The expert lecture was attended by MBA and Integrated MBA students, along with concerned faculty members.

Mr. Shrivastava was very candid about the requirements of the Industry like Time Management, Ontime Presence, Transparency, Intellectual Honesty etc. are minimum requirements to be successful in the industry. He also said hard work is a basic requirement in any job, and there are many opportunities in the market, but one must possess the certain additional skills apart from the basic qualification to be considered for any specific job. Many job opportunities abroad exist in Cloud Computing, Data Sciences, AI etc. etc. Students asked many questions and Mr. Shrivastava is very open in sharing his experiences.
