IPL Auction Event Bid To Glory Success At GIPS

The Hawk Insights – IT Club, in collaboration with the Alumni Cell of GIPS, successfully hosted an exciting event titled “Bid To Glory: The IPL Auction War” on the occasion of World Health Day. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan, Principal of GIPS, whose continuous encouragement inspires students to engage in innovative academic initiatives.

The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Sony Sharma, an alumna from the BCA Batch (2022–2025) and currently a CRM Executive at Maruti Suzuki Arena, who served as the judge. With participation from 75 students, the competition highlighted remarkable strategic thinking, teamwork, and a deep understanding of the IPL auction format, making it a lively and enriching experience.

The winners were Provesh Bhardwaj, Ritesh Tiwari, and Satyam Kumar (BBA II Sem) securing 1st position; Sai Krishna Yadav, Nishant Kumar Singh, and Nikhil Kumar Singh (BBA II Sem) securing 2nd position; and Ayush Jaiswal, Tarun Adhikari, and Aniket Mall (B.Sc. CS – IV Sem) securing 3rd position. Congratulations to all participants for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
