“Wipeout pollution before it wipes you out”

National Pollution Control Day is observed on December 2 to instill awareness among people about environmental pollution and its disastrous consequences.

The National Pollution Control Day is observed every year on this day in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas tragedy.

With this thought, Prayas, the Social Club in association with IIC, GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies (GIPS) organized Nukkad Natak and Vriksharopan to educate the people and make them aware of pollution control measures.

The key objectives are to educate people about the importance of pollution control acts and make them aware of industrial disasters.

The day aims to bring awareness to people about the prevention of pollution.

The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Savita Mohan, principal of GIPS, all hods and faculty members along with the whole GIPS students.
