Significance of Gita in the Knowledge-based Economy

Prayas, Social Club of GIPS Organized a Panel Discussion on the “Significance of Gita in the Knowledge-based Economy” in association with Gita Parivar and GI4QC on the occasion of Gita Jayanti Samaroh Series.

We had the presence of experts in this session comprising of Prof. R.K. Khandal, former Vice Chancellor AKTU, C.A. Anish Rakheja,

The session started with auspicious lamp lighting and Sarasvati Vandana, followed by the welcome address given by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan. The session was steered and moderated by Mr. Anand Prakash Prakash, CEO & Co-Founder: Farm for Full Potential LLP, he urged the audiences to read the Bhagwad Gita which is the main source of inspiration for many authors who are internationally renowned for their contribution.

Prof. R.K. Khandal President, of R&D and Business Development in India Glycos Limited, and former Vice Chancellor AKTU threw light on our ancient Sanskriti and its interrelationship with a healthy lifestyle.

Mr. Anish Rakheja, Chartered Accountant, Lifestyle Coach, and founder of Krescon Coaches, emphasized that Gita is the main source of knowledge and wisdom and is now being translated into multi-languages and is being studied by researchers to gain its source of application in life sciences.

Finally, we all were enlightened by the pearls of wisdom spoken by none other than Mr. S.D. Nautiyal Chief Head Librarian of GNIOT Group left the audience spellbound with his knowledge and wisdom in a very simple and lucid manner.

All in all, it was a wonderful session brimming with knowledge and wisdom not only for students but also for faculty and staff members.
