Sustainability Activity At GIPS Promoting Reduce Reuse And Repair

GIPS, in collaboration with the Climate Action Unit Cell, successfully conducted a meaningful and impactful activity focused on promoting sustainability and responsible consumption. The initiative motivated students to repair damaged or unused everyday items—such as bags, stationery, small gadgets, and clothing—instead of throwing them away.

Through this hands-on activity, participants developed a better understanding of waste reduction, resource conservation, and the importance of extending the lifespan of products. It also encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. Overall, the event was a significant step toward building a culture of sustainability and mindful living within the campus community.
