The annual sports festival - SPARDHA - 2023

GNIOT, The annual sports festival " SPARDHA- 2023" was organized successfully from 11th to 16th February 2023 at the GNIOT Campus. And on 16th February 2023, valedictory function was organized with prize distribution. Honorable Chief Guest Dr. Rita Jayarath (one of India's leading female athletes), Hon’ able Chairman Dr. Rajesh Gupta ji, Hon’ able Vice Chairman Mr. Gaurav Gupta ji, CEO Mr. Swdesh Singh, Director of the Dr. Dhiraj Gupta, Dean Academics Dr. Sanjay Katiyar and Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan (Dean Student Welfare) lighting the lamp on this occasion at the beginning of the program. After this the national flag was hoisted, march past was conducted gracefully by the various departments. Dr. Rita Jairath (Chief Guest) in her address gave her blessings to all the participating students motivate and encouraged them for participating in sports.

Further, Dr. Dhiraj Gupta, on his address, congratulates the winners of various games, emphasis on significance of sports in their life. And said that sports are a great way to become physically fit, have fun and understand co-existence with your peers. It is also a great way to inculcate the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Mainly, 12 games were organized in SPARDHA 2023, such as 100 meters race, 200 meters race and various track events including football, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Ko, Kabaddi, Basketball, Javelin Throw, Tug of war and cricket etc. for boys and girls were organized successfully. All the winners were awarded with prizes on the last day of the competition (16-02-2023).

Also, the Hon’ able Chairman of GNIOT -Group of Institutions, Dr. Rajesh Gupta ji congratulated all the winning and participating students and expressed his happiness on the successful completion of this annual sports competition, SPARDHA -2023.
