“Times of stress are also times that are signals for growth, and if we use adversity properly, we can grow through adversity.”

GNIOT- IPS, Greater Noida conducted its Third Day of Orientation Programme “ARABDHA  2022: A New Beginning”, for the BBA  First Year students on September 29, 2022.

A workshop on “Time & Stress Management in College Students”, was planned for the day. The expert to deliver on this topic was Brigadier Ramesh Chandra, Professor of OB & HR, Corporate Trainer, and Motivation Coach.
He delivered his address to students on the quintessential topic of Stress and Time Management which every student in this competitive world is facing. His session on time management stressed the habit of procrastination not only in students but generally in all individuals.
He also shared tips with students on making the best use of available time in the most effective and productive manner.

His address on Stress apprised students of the fact that stress can be both positive as well as negative.
He ultimately summed up the session by stating that, stress management and time management go hand in hand. Waiting until the last minute to complete a work project or a task at home can cause stress. Hence stress can be due to work-related or family-related issues, which ultimately have to be handled by individuals in an efficient manner without disrupting their physical and mental wellbeing.

The event was not possible without the effective guidance and supervision of the Principal,  Prof. (Dr.) Savita Mohan Mohan.

It was a day wherein the newly admitted students learned a lot in terms of techniques for managing both time and stress.

A Vote of Thanks was extended by Prof. Dr. Himanshu Mittal, Head of The Department of BBA.
