World Patient Safety Week 2026 GIMSAR Students Achieve Excellence

World Patient Safety Week was celebrated at Neo Hospital from 15th September 2026 to 17th September 2026 with the objective of creating awareness and promoting the importance of patient safety among healthcare professionals and students.

As part of their ongoing clinical postings at Neo Hospital, the B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year students of GNIOT Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSAR), GNIOT actively participated in various competitions organized during the celebration. The competitions provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, knowledge, and understanding of patient safety practices.

The major competitions included Poster Making and Reel Making on Patient Safety, among other activities. The students participated enthusiastically and showcased their innovative ideas.

The students of GIMSAR performed exceptionally well and brought laurels to the institution. The following students received prizes:

- Anshika – 1st Prize in Reel Making Competition 
- Chandani and Sanskriti – 2nd Prize in Poster Making Competition 
- Saloni – Consolation Prize in Reel Making Competition 

The students participated with great enthusiasm. Their efforts and achievements were highly appreciated by the hospital authorities, faculty members, and other participants.

 The achievements of the students brought pride and recognition to GNIOT and GIMSAR at Neo Hospital. Their active participation and commendable performance reflected their dedication, creativity, and commitment towards the nursing profession.
