India, not just a name, it’s a feeling…Sanskriti – The Cultural Club, GIMS, Greater Noida celebrated the 75th Independence Day at Phir Muskurayega Bharat – Independence Day Celebrations. The young India emerged with flying colours, dynamic and versatile in every manner and made some noise for the country on August 13, 2021.

15th August is a great day and a proud moment for every Indian. On the occasion, GIMS, Greater Noida, celebrated the 75th Independence Day of India organized by Sanskriti Club. Everyone on the campus was geared up and zealous for the occasion. Patriotic speeches on the theme ‘Phir Muskurayega Bharat’ were delivered by both PGDM I and II Year students. Students expressed their views about the importance of Independence Day & expressed their emotions through patriotic songs, speeches & dance performances.

The highlight part of the show was the speech delivered by Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director- GIMS. He eulogized the supreme sacrifice of the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom fighting against the draconian British Rule. He also said that freedom is very precious and it is very necessary to preserve it. The celebrations concluded with the National Anthem and Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ruchi Rayat(Dean-OSW).

At the end of the ceremony, laddoos were distributed among the students.
