Freedom in mind, Strength in words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Let’s salute our India on Republic Day.

With the same zeal, the Sanskriti Club of (GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, GIMS) organized an event on the 25th of January `21 at Chanakya Block Auditorium for Republic Day. The theme for the event was “Mere Sapno Ka Bharat.” Students of PGDM Batch 2020-2022 showed patriotism by participating in activities such as classical dancing and singing, speeches, skit, and extempore competition in Hindi.

Like every other event of GIMS, this event too started with the reciting of Saraswati Vandana followed by the welcome address of Dr. Arun Kumar Singh (Director GIMS), during which he shared the importance of being aware of the history of our nation, remembering freedom fighters and doing something for the country. After that, the students started with their respective performances. Almost every student participated in one or the other activity, be it singing, speech, dance performances, or skit. Students showcased their enthusiasm by singing and dancing to patriotic songs. They even presented a wonderful skit in which they portrayed the differences and unity among different cultures of India all at once. The idea was to show that despite several factors that cause conflicts and disparities among various Indian cultures, there are positive factors that keep all these cultures united.

At the end of the event, all the students, faculty members, and guests assembled on the stage for a group photo.

All COVID-related precautionary measures were followed by everyone.
