Remembering former prime minister and visionary Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on his day, the future managers of GIMS, Greater Noida, celebrated ‘National Teacher’s Day’ thanking every teacher of GIMS, Greater Noida, for changing their ordinary life into an educated life. The event was organized on the 3rd of September,2021, at the Seminar Hall, Chanakya Block, GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, Greater Noida.

Sanskriti, the Cultural Club, GIMS Greater Noida, organized the event with PGDM First and Second-year students taking the complete onus.

The event started at 2.30 PM with a lamp lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana. PGDM I year students Tipu Saikia, Bhawna Gupta, and II year students Sanjana Singh and Ambuj hosted the event. Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, (Director- GIMS), Dr. Ruchi Rayat (Dean OSW), Dr. Shalini Sharma (Area Chair CND/CRC), Prof. Mayank Pandey (Head PGP), Prof. Pradeep Verma (COE/Area-chair IT-BA) along with the other faculties, staff and the Outreach Team, were felicitated with love and respect.

Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Director- GIMS, gave his particular time to students to understand the role of learning in life, the power of education, and how to bridge the gaps to be the master of the curriculum. He also urged the first and second-year students to raise their bars instead of setting a new one.

Various performances and cultural activities like dancing, singing, speech, comedy act, and skit role-play were performed by the students of the first and second year to enlighten the event with enthusiasm. A fun game, ‘Musical Chair’ was the main attraction where all the faculty members played and enjoyed the game. Prof. Pradeep Verma (Area-chair IT-BA) was the winner of the game, and the others won the hearts of all the students.

The PGDM first and second-year students facilitated all the faculties with a gift and bouquet regarding how every teacher of GIMS has changed students’ lives. The faculty also presented their thoughts in songs, speeches, and poetry to express their love for the students.

The day was packed with fun, learning, and lots of performances, which turned into a beautiful part of the entire day.
