Department of MCA (Master of Computer Application) is organizing a webinar on the topic " Industry 4.0: Health and safety challenges" on 17th December, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

The topic of the session includes the discussion about the emergence of new health and safety risks stemming from the use of the technologies,the challenges of judging whether any risks to health and safety arising from the use of the technologies are as low as is reasonably practicable,the big data and data security challenges when working with the technologies, particularly those associated with extremely large flows of data and sensitive data,the challenges of dealing with cyber security risks when technologies have connections to the internet and so on.

Dr. Vinod Kumar Shukla will be the esteemed guest speaker of the session. He is currently working with Amity University, Dubai, UAE as a capacity of Associate Professor.

Dr. Vinod Kumar Shukla has more than 15 years of experience. He has completed his Ph.D, in the field of “Semantic Web and Ontology” and he is an active member of IEEE. He has published many research papers in various reputed journals/conferences and also completed “General Management Programme” from Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad (IIM-A).

Dr. Vinod Kumar Shukla is a certified Network Trainer CCNI (Cisco Certified Network Trainer)and has conducted many training programs, which includes, Training program for the employees of Delhi Transco Limited (D.T.L), Indian postal department in Megdoot Bhawan, Delhi, and Directorate General Resettlement (DGR). He has also written case study on “Online Retail in UAE: Driven to Grow” and “MODI’S VISIT TO UAE: UNCOVERING NEW AREAS OF COOPERATION“which are hosted by European Case Clearing House (ECCH), the case center, UK.

Dr. Vinod Kumar Shukla has received the “Inquisitive Award”, in Unanimity -2020, organized and hosted by Amity University Dubai. Nominated for "Academic Leadership Award" in "International Business and Academic Excellence Awards (IBAE-2019)”.He has received, Star Supporter Award 2019, which was presented by: Manzil Center, Sharjah, UAE for the continuous support to community engagement and volunteerism and he has also received Memento for Amity University Dubai, from Mrs. Gloria Gangte, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Sultanate of Oman for Guidance Seminar 2016.
