The Research Cell of Greater Noida Institute of Technology is celebrating National Science Day-2023 to focus on the mission towards academic excellence. The Government of India declared 28th February as National Science Day in the year 1986 to revere the contributions of Sir C. V. Raman who won the Nobel Prize-1930 for his discovery in the field of scattering of light. On this day, GNIOT plans to enrich the knowledge levels of all of its stakeholders by arranging an invited talk of Professor Kehar Singh, Shanti SwarupBhatnagar Awardee, Galileo Galili Awardee, former Professor, Dean and HoD-IIT Delhi, and Chief Guest for the function. On this occasion, Dr. S. K. Varshney, Advisor and Scientist-G in Department of Science & Technology, Government of India will be gracing the event as Guest of Honour. He will also be inaugurating GNIOT’s Idea Incubator Zone (IIZ) that is a solid-step towards helping our budding entrepreneurs. Professor R. K. Sinha, Honourable Vice-Chancellor GautamBuddh University who is the Mentor of GNIOT has also agreed to make his valuable presence available as Honourary Guest for the event. GNIOT students have arranged an exhibition for the day for showcasing their capacities of designing research and industrial projects in order to imbibe upon the rigor of achieving academic excellence.
