Department of Electrical Engineering, GNIOT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, GREATER NOIDA, is organizing a webinar on “Power Plant Engineering” on 13th Aug, 2020 between 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM.

The webinar will primarily focus on enriching the students with the knowledge about the engineering and technology required for the production of central station electric power. The engineering aspect of power plant management has evolved with technology and has become progressively more complicated. This session will deal with the study of energy, its sources and utilization of energy for power generation. The introduction of nuclear technology and the progression of other existing technologies have allowed power to be created in more ways and on a larger scale than was previously possible. The economics of power generation and the environmental aspect of power generation will also be covered in this session.

Taking this approach forward, Department of Electrical Engineering is inviting Mr Sudhir kumar Sharma, (Engineer
Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidhyut Utpadan Nigam Limited) as a speaker to session the Webinar.
